Salisbury Country Club offers free greens fees to military vets over Veterans Day weekend

SALISBURY — In connection with Veterans Day, the Country Club of Salisbury will open its golf course and waive greens fees for military veterans and active-duty military personnel over the Nov. 9-10 weekend.
The only charge will be a $20 cart fee on both Saturday and Sunday that weekend. Nonmilitary immediate family member also may play for a $20 cart fee if the military family member is playing with the group.
To take advantage of the offer, call the club’s golf shop at 704-636-7070 to reserve a tee time. The club will need each player’s name at the time the tee time is reserved.
At the time of check-in, players will be asked to present their military IDs.
Along with the complimentary green fee, the golf shop will offer a 20% discount on soft goods and 10% off hard goods.
