RALEIGH — The NC Technology Association (NC Tech) has released its monthly snapshot of available IT positions in the state, broken down in several ways, including top 10 listings by metro area, job type, skillset and employers.

“North Carolina IT job openings were slightly higher in September than the same month last year, outpacing the U.S. rate for that same comparison period,” said Brooks Raiford, president and CEO of NC TECH. “However, September openings were lower than August, resuming a downward trend over the past six months.”

The report also gives a supply and demand snapshot of Linux, a steady presence on the top 10 skills list over the course of the year.

The newest and previous IT job reports are available www.nctech.org/research, with more talent-related information and resources at www.nctech.org/talent.

NC TECH is a not-for-profit, membership-driven trade association and the primary voice of the technology industry in North Carolina.
