Marijuana stash leads to charges against couple after 32 plants found at Hickory Lane home

A Salisbury couple were charged with manufacturing marijuana after law enforcement officers found 32 marijuana plants growing in different containers in their Hickory Lane home.
David Ray Jones, 28, and Morgan Dawn Jones, 26, of 212 Hickory Lane, were both charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession with intent to manufacture sell and deliver marijuana, felony maintaining a dwelling place for a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The incident occurred Monday. The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office found the plants in cups, buckets and planters, the arrest warrant said.
Also found in the home were flourescent lights, scales and sandwich bags.
Both were given an $8,000 bond. They have since been released from the Rowan County Detention Center.
