KANNAPOLIS ó The Kannapolis Fire Department will have its second annual Open House Oct. 3 at Fire Station One.
The event will feature kids’ arts and crafts, live firefighter demonstrations, children’s firefighter challenge course, blood pressure checks, door prizes, outdoor amusements and more.
The event will run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Fire Station One is located at 300 Firehouse Drive, Kannapolis.
The Open House is a part of the National Fire Prevention Week. Throughout the week and the month of October, the Kannapolis Fire Department will host several fire station tours and also conduct visits with trucks and the fire safety house to preschools, day cares, schools and community events.
