KANNAPOLIS óOn Saturday, Oct. 3, the Kannapolis Fire Department will have its second annual open house at Fire Station One.
The event will feature kids’ arts and crafts, the live firefighter demonstrations, children’s firefighter challenge course, blood pressure checks, door prizes, outdoor amusements and more.
The event will run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Fire Station One is at 300 Firehouse Drive, Kannapolis.
The open house is a part of the KFD’s celebration of National Fire Prevention Week. Throughout the week and October, the KFD will host several fire station tours and conduct visits with trucks and the fire safety house to preschools, day cares, schools and community events.
