KANNAPOLIS ó Summer has ended and with it, Stories Under the Stars in Kannapolis.
The Kannapolis Parks and Rec Department, in conjunction with the Cabarrus County Library and Ike’s Construction, will present the last, free Stories Under the Stars session at 7 p.m. Saturday.
The Grey Seal Puppets will entertain audiences with their performance of Tangle of Tales on the patio at the Kannapolis Branch Library, 850 Mountain St.
Three favorite folks tales from around the world come to life with a touch of the familiar and a taste of the new.
Using a variety of puppet styles, “The Frog Prince” from Germany, “Three Billy Goats Gruff” from Scandinavia and “The Three Little Pigs” from England are each told with refreshing wit and wisdom.
In between each of the tales, a whole menagerie of zany characters perform.
