Drug bust nets three suspects, $1 million bond

Over the last two months the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit, Salisbury Police, and SBI conducted a joint counter drug operation involving numerous subjects involved in Narcotics Trafficking in and around Rowan County.
During the course of the operation, several ounces of powder cocaine was purchased by undercover Sheriff’s Detectives along with weeks of surveillance.
The operation ended with the arrest of the suspects Tuesday afternoon in a vehicle stop on Jake Alexander Boulevard.
During these arrests detectives from the Sheriff’s Office and Salisbury Police Departments and SBI agents discovered and seized approximately 40 pounds of marijuana (street value of $96,000), 215 grams of cocaine (street value of $21,500), two dosage units of MDMA (Ecstacy). In addition to the seized drugs three cars and approximately $8,000 in cash was seized.
The following subjects were arrested following the operation:
Camby Juarez Chino (Hispanic male, DOB: 9-22-79, address: 1012 Scottish Square Lane, Kannapolis) charged with:
– Maintaining vehicle for controlled substances;
– Conspiracy to traffic marijuana;
– Conspiracy to traffic cocaine;
– Traffic cocaine by possession;
– Traffic cocaine by transporting;
– Traffic marijuana by possession;
– Traffic marijuana by transporting;
– Possession with intent to sell marijuana;
– Possession with intent to sell cocaine
Oscar Lemus (Hispanic male, DOB: 6-19-77, address: 1504 Moose Rd., Kannapolis), charged with:
Same charges as above.
Cesar Alfredo Corona Rodriquez (Hispanic male, DOB: 10-7-83, address: 100 Akron Avenue, Kannapolis) charged with:
Same charges as above;
– And possession of schedule I controlled substance.
All three subjects were placed in the Rowan County Detention Center under $1,000,000 secured bond, pending a first appearance on Friday.
Jose Ramirez (Being held in the Cabarrus County Jail on unrelated charges at this time, but RCSO warrants will be served this morning)

– 4 counts of possession with intent to sell cocaine;
– 2 counts of sell/deliver cocaine;
– 2 counts of conspiracy to sell cocaine;
– 2 counts of trafficking cocaine by possession;
– 2 counts of trafficking cocaine by sale.
Guillermo Molina (Hispanic male, DOB: 9-3-70, address: 1219 N. Church St., Salisbury), was arrested and charged with:
– 2 counts of conspiracy to traffic cocaine;
– 2 counts of possession with intent to sell cocaine;
– 2 counts of trafficking cocaine by possession;
– 2 counts of trafficking cocaine by transporting;
– 2 counts of trafficking cocaine by sale.
They were placed in the Rowan County Detention Center under $1,000,000 secured bond, pending a first appearance on Friday.
