Authorities are searching for a 77-year-old western Rowan County man missing since Monday morning.
Investigators believe Edward John Hanson-Kelly, of 1109 Timber Spring Lane, got lost while driving to the airport in Charlotte to pick up his wife. Eileen Hanson-Kelly last spoke with her husband at 10 a.m., a Rowan County Sheriff’s Office press release said.
Hanson-Kelly’s credit cards have been used at gas stations in Matthews, Wise, Townsville, S.C., and Lyons, Ga., since he went missing.
He is driving a red 2007 Honda CR-V with North Carolina license plate WVT-4419.
Anyone with information that could help authorities locate Hanson-Kelly is asked to contact Rowan County Sheriff’s Investigator Greg Hannold at 704-216-8700.
