Handguns stolen in Spencer

A Spencer man reported the theft of six handguns from a home on Dunns Mountain Road.
John Louis Marino of 7th St., Spencer, reported to the Rowan Sheriff’s Office that the guns were taken between noon on Sept. 15 and 1 p.m. on Sept. 16.
The guns were taken from the Paul Louis Marino home at 3510 Dunns Mountain Road.
According to the Sheriff’s Office report, the semi-automatic handguns valued at $4,200 included he following : IMI Desert Eagle, Luger P08, Walther P1, Masterpiece, Tula, Mauser C96.
Deputies entered the list of guns including serial numbers to the NCIC (National Crime Information Center) database.
