NAACP candidates forum Wednesday
The Salisbury-Rowan Branch of the NAACP will host a forum for Salisbury City Council candidates Wednesday evening.
The forum will start at 6:30 p.m. at the Rowan Public Library, 201 W. Fisher St.
There are 12 candidates for the five City Council seats, each of which is up for a two-year term. They are Charles Black, Maggie Blackwell, Carl Dangerfield, Blake Jarman, Ben Johnson, William “Pete” Kennedy, Susan Kluttz, Mark Lewis, Brian Miller, William Peoples, Paul Woodson and Michael Young.
