As an Air Force veteran, I will always be grateful for the medical care that I have received from the VA since my discharge.

The VA has taken a lot of heat over the years, some of which is deserved, but I would like to compliment the Salisbury and Kernersville Ophthalmology Departments.

I have macular degeneration in both eyes and receive injections on a regular basis without which I might not be able to drive. I have been in the waiting room at times when it was full, but the staff never seem to lose their cool under the circumstances. They are my heroes.
