A woman critically injured in an Aug. 29 head-on collision on Airport Road has improved but remains hospitalized.
Maria Sagrada Cervantes remains in Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. A hospital spokesman said her condition is good.
Clarence “Chuck” Moorefield III, the driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash, has been released from Carolinas Medical Center.
Salisbury Police said the Cadillac Escalante Moorefield was driving crossed the centerline and struck the vehicle Cervantes was driving.
Information on charges was not immediately available.
