Woman injured in Wednesday wreck in critical condition

A 49-year-old woman injured in a wreck on Stokes Ferry Road Wednesday afternoon remains in critical condition.
Connie Dryer of 9120 Stokes Ferry Road was reported to be in critical condition in Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, according to Trooper M.E. Heon of the N.C. Highway Patrol.
Dryer was trapped in her Nissan Altima after a collision with a dump truck in the 6400 block of Stokes Ferry Road around 1:30 p.m.
Sidney Harvey, 57, of Salisbury, the driver of the dump truck, was treated and released.
No charges have been filed in the accident.
