ROCKWELL ó A mobile home being moved on N.C. 152 East knocked utility lines across the highway around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, blocking all traffic.
The roadway was cleared around 11 a.m. after Duke Energy, Windstream and Time Warner dealt with the downed lines.
Rockwell Rural firefighters, the N.C. Highway Patrol and other law enforcement agencies spent nearly two hours directing traffic.
The lines were knocked down near the intersection with Cigar Avenue.
Much of the traffic, particularly tractor-trailers, was rerouted on U.S. 52.
