CHINA GROVE ó Authorities are investigating a bank robbery that occurred this morning.
According to emergency radio communications, an armed man robbed Community Bank of Rowan, 313 E. Centerview St., around 9:45 a.m.
The suspect was described as a black male wearing a black T-shirt with a white T-shirt under it, black windbreaker pants, green latex gloves, a ballcap with an afro sticking out from under it and sunglasses.
He left in a late-model Honda, either beige or champagne in color, heading north on Bostian Street, toward Salisbury, according to radio communications.
