In an effort to encourage proper hydration among football players, Rowan Regional Medical Center employees organized a donation of hundreds of water bottles and water coolers to area high schools.
Hospital officials met with area athletic directors and the group decided water coolers and water bottles would be beneficial for the schools.
Rowan Regional ordered the water coolers and water bottles and employees delivered them to each high school on Friday before their opening games.
Each high school’s athletic program received 10-gallon water coolers and 100 water bottles for the upcoming school year and sports seasons.
