SALISBURY — First United Methodist Church will hold its first Community Christmas Festival from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church.

The theme is “Christmas Around the World,” and the public is invited to the free family program.

The evening will feature foods and Christmas traditions from across the globe, including India, Cuba, Germany, Liberia and the United States.

Cookie decorating, games, crafts, a coffee and hot cocoa bar, S’mores around a fire and a guest appearance by Olaf also will be included, according to Bailee Weisensel, director of children’s ministries for the church.
