Letter: Boy Scouts keep Christmas tradition alive
Published 12:00 am Sunday, December 22, 2019
Perhaps it’s a lost tradition or maybe we don’t hear about it as we did in years past, but our home and surrounding ones were treated Monday night to Christmas caroling by Boy Scouts of America Troop No. 442 of the First United Methodist Church of Salisbury.
Full of life and with a joyous nature, these young men are always welcomed into our home to kick start the spirit of Christmas.
Thank you to David Wilson, his scout leaders and a fine group of lively and polite young men who are keeping a wonderful tradition alive.
