Speed limit drops on N. Milford Drive
The speed limit on North Milford Drive in Salisbury has been reduced from 35 mph to 25 mph.
The street extends from Statesville to Jake Alexander boulevards.
Salisbury City Council approved the new speed limit after receiving a petition signed by 76 percent of the residents on the street.
A portion of North Milford Drive functions as an extension of Arbor Drive, which already was posted at 25 mph.
