As the nation marks the 58th Annual National Day of Prayer, the Rowan Baptist Association will hold a prayer service at noon Thursday in the Belltower Park in the 200 block of West Innes Street.
Participants will join hands in prayer. The event will last about an hour.
The theme for this year chosen by the national organization is “Prayer… America’s Hope” and is based on a verse from Psalm 33:22: “May your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord, even as we put our hope in you.”
