Joe Bennett Trexler and Carolyn Reavis Trexler of Gold Hill celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary April 18, 1964. A dinner celebration was held April 5 in the Fellowship Building at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rockwell given by their children and grandchildren. The Trexlers were married April 18, 1964, in the Rockwell home of the bride’s parents by Rev. Calvin Lambert. Joe retired from Pillowtex, where he worked for 46 years, and Carolyn is a homemaker.
Their children are Darrin B. Trexler (wife Lisa) of Salisbury; Tracy J. Trexler (wife Sheri) of Gold Hill; Mandy T. Shulenburger (husband Rick) of Gold Hill; and Christy L. Trexler of Gold Hill. Their five grandchildren are Josh, Taylor, Callie, Wyatt and Kayla Trexler.
