The American Red Cross will hold blood drives throughout May There’s a great need for blood types O-, O+, B-, B+ & A-.
Donors can give blood at one of the following sites. Phone numbers are provided for reservations, but walk-ins are also welcome. All donors may register to win one of three seven-day cruises for two.
A state law was changed in 2008 allowing 16-year-olds to donate blood. The Red Cross requires that 16-year-olds get signed parental consent before donating blood.
