KANNAPOLIS ó The Kannapolis Intimidators will host their Second Annual Baseball and BBQ Bash on Saturday at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium.
Teams from throughout Carolinas will be showing off their skills cooking pork butts, chicken and ribs. Trophies will be awarded to first, second and third place winners. All competitors will receive a ticket to Saturday night’s 7:05 p.m. game, as the Intimidators take on the Asheville Tourists. Post-game fireworks will follow.
A $5 wrist band will allow fans to sample the entries from each team. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Joan Roberts Foundation for Ovarian Cancer.
