Concord walkathon will explore history

CONCORD ó Historic Cabarrus Association will sponsor Walk-A-Thon Through Concord’s History on April 25 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The walk will cover North Union Street and downtown Concord.
Costumed storytellers and uniformed participants will recreate arrowhead making, panning for gold, “outlaw baseball” and perform military re-enactments.
Old Courthouse Theatre actors and singers will make special appearances. Registration will be held at 9 a.m. at Forest Hill United Methodist Church at Union and Buffalo streets.
