The Salisbury Parks and Recreation Department will host the following programs and events in April.
– Earth Day on the Greenway, 9-11:30 a.m., April 3. Prescott Greenway Section by Overton Elementary.
– Scrapbooking by Creative Memories, 10 a.m.ń3 p.m., April 4. City Park Center. $12/class.
– Egg-Cellent Egg Design Camp, Miller Center, 5-6 p.m., April 7. $4 residents/$8 non-residents.
– All A Board Game Day, 10 a.m.ń noon, April 7. Civic Center. $1 residents/$2 non-residents.
– Spring Break Camp, 7:30 a.m.ń5:30 p.m., April 7-9. City Park Center and Miller Center. $60 residents/$120 non-residents.
– Egg Hunt Surprise, 4:30 ń 5:30 p.m., April 9. Miller Center. $2 residents/$4 non-residents.
– 6:30ń7:30 p.m., April 9. Salisbury Striders for Life Walking Program meeting, City Park Center. No charge.
– Spring Clean-Up Week, April 12-18, City Park facilities. Call 704-638-5295 for more information.
– “Touch a Truck,”10 a.m.- 1 p.m., April 18. Food Lion #1 ńMahaley Avenue. No charge.
– Wonderland Tea Party, 10:30 a.m ńnoon, April 18, Miller Center. $8 residents/ $16 non-residents.
– Card Making, 6-8 p.m., April 21. Civic Center, $10.
– Hump Day Disc Golf Tournament, 5:30 p.m., April 22, Kelsey Scott Park. $5 general registration, $2 optional Ace Pool.
– Carolina Artist Student Art Expo, 5-8 p.m., April 24, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. April 25. Civic Center. No charge.
– Jr. Olympic Skills Competition, 9-10 a.m., April 25. Knox Middle School. No charge.
