SALISBURY — The last day for voters to change their voter affiliation is Friday.
In the primary election, unaffiliated voters can choose a Democratic, Republican and Libertarian ballot. Those registered to a party must vote that party’s ballot.
Green and Constitution parties are considered closed parties and don’t allow unaffiliated voters to choose their ballots.

To make changes, complete a new registration form and mail to the Board of Elections office, at 1935 Jake Alexander Boulevard W, Suite D10, Salisbury, NC 28147. The forms must be the Board of Election office by Wednesday, which it should be postmarked by Friday.
Voters can also fill out a form at the office.
Voters can also email the form to rowan.boe@rowancountync.gov or fax to 704-216-8145. They must be filled out and delivered to the office at 5 p.m. Friday.
The form must have a signature in order for the change to be accepted.
