KANNAPOLIS ó While a family slept early Saturday, a burglar entered their home and cleaned out several electronic items.
Vincent Lee Davis, of 200 Jonathan Court (off Little Texas Road ), told Kannapolis Police he heard his dog barking inside the house around 1:15 a.m.
When Davis opened his bedroom door to tell the dog to stop barking, he spotted a window open and the screen off.
Davis’ daughter and nephew, who were also in the house, didn’t see or hear anyone.
But the thief or thieves took a Gateway computer, a PlayStation and video games, police said.
Capt. Chuck Adams said the person faces a first-degree burglary charge.
