Feb. 21 • 6-8 p.m.
Live acoustic music by Samantha Gabrielle
The Salisbury Business Center is hosting a new art exhibition featuring nature photography and digital art by local artists Shane Tolliver and Michael Frank. The exhibit, ‘Art in Nature’, will run through May 22 and is available for public viewing weekdays 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at 301 S. Main St.
Michael Frank, a photographer since the age of 9 when he was given a Polaroid Swinger as a gift, would come into his own when he obtained his first digital camera in 1998, which opened a new world. Michael’s gift of incorporating digital enhancements to his images allows him to keep the simple artistry of his subjects intact while incorporating intricate details and depth. Mike feels his best gift is to be able to share with everyone what God’s glory reveals to him. It gives Mike solace and motivates his passion to capture and share.
Shane Tolliver’s journey through pastoring and teaching lead him to nature photography as one of his great passions. He says, “So many of us rush through life, never taking the time to see the world teeming with life all around us.” His focus is on this world. He spends many hours traveling and photographing his subjects, garnering joy, peace, and encouragement.
‘Art in Nature’ – A Photographic Exhibit is part of the ongoing Salisbury Business Center Art Partnerships Gallery Exhibits program, wherein gallery space is provided to local artists.
