There were 35 student winners in the Rowan-Salisbury District Science Fair held Feb. 23-25 at Horizons Unlimited.
A science fair is a challenging event in which students present independent research projects. They produce new data to answer a question, a higher-level, real-world experience that can be taken as far as students’ abilities and interests allow.
The science fair experience is an individual or team challenge that provides a high ceiling for student growth and a first-hand view of what it might be like to work in a particular field of science.
