The N.C. Department of Transportation will close a section of Old Concord Road (State Road 1002) near Old Beatty Ford Road beginning at 8 a.m. Tuesday and lasting until 4 p.m. Wednesday, weather permitting.
Motorists should take the following signed detour: Old Beatty Ford Road to Phaniels Church Road to Rogers Road back to Old Concord Road.
The closure is necessary for a cross line replacement.
