A Salisbury man who was stabbed in two separate attacks cut himself, authorities say.
David Wayne Michael, 28, told Salisbury Police last week a black male tried to rob him at his Milford Drive home on Tuesday. The next day, he said a white male with a shaggy beard stabbed him in the abdomen at a Statesville Boulevard carwash.
Police confirmed Monday that Michael’s injuries were self-inflicted.
