VMI dean’s list
David T. Wagner Jr., a freshman from Mooresville, was among the 474 cadets named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Va..
Wagner, who is majoring in electrical and computer engineering, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David T. Wagner Sr.
To be eligible for the dean’s list, a cadet must have a term grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and no grade below C.
Clemson list
Making the president’s list at Clemson University for the fall 2008 semester was Kathryn Joanne Hall of Mount Ulla, daughter of David and Tina Hall.
To be eligible for the president’s list, students must achieve a 4.0 grade point average.
Old Dominion
Joseph Miller, son of Joe and Cindy Miller of China Grove, has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2008 semester at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va.
To make the list, students must be enrolled full time and have a grade point average of 3.4 or higher, with no grade below a C.
Knox science fair
Winners in the Knox Middle School science fair held Jan. 29 were:
