Two Charlotte men were arrested Saturday after a robbery at Mikey’s One Stop on South Main Street.
Ambrose Tate, 52, and Donald Swain, 58, were charged with common law robbery and placed under $10,000 bond pending a first appearance hearing in Rowan County District Court on Tuesday, according to arrest reports.
Tate and Swain are charged with taking $1,000 from the store after putting an employee in fear of bodily harm by the threat of violence, the reports say. Officer J.S. Burleyson of the Rowan County Sheriff’s Department made the arrests.
