Jim Gandy passed away last week at The Gables at Kepley Farm.

He was always called the town mayor. Spencer C. Lane, owner and developer of The Gables, and Efird Construction, as the builder, got all the workers together in their commercial vehicles, cranes, dump trucks and Bobcats and drove through the Gables on honor of him.

Due to COVID-19, there are limits on visitation and funerals. We felt like this was the best way to honor him. He was 89 and hung out with the workers everyday for years.
