Someone stole seven tractor tires from Rowan Granite Quarry sometime between Dec. 31 and Jan. 4.
The Salisbury business is located at 3025 Artz Road. Thieves took six tires valued at $1,200 and one tire worth $200. An employee reported the theft Jan. 4. The items have since been recovered by Rowan County Sheriff’s officials.

– Two people were arrested at 7540 U.S. 52, Salisbury Jan. 5. Andrew James Collins, 18, and William Denorris Jefferies, 21,were charged with misdemeanor possession of a schedule VI controlled substance.
– Pearl’s Pawn And Gun reported Jan. 5 someone pawned a pressure washer that did not belong to him at 1598 N. Main St., China Grove.
Shirley Mullis, 69, of 850 Timberlane Trail, reported her son-in-law took that pressure washer without her consent.
– Someone shot the windshield of a front-end loader at Dave’s Grading and Hauling, 2675 Providence Church Road, with a BB gun on Jan. 5.
– Michael Craig Sechler, 31, reported Jan. 5 someone drove into his yard at 310 Daughtery Road, China Grove, and took a battery charger.
– Don G. Coggins, 49, reported Jan. 5 someone attempted to break into his home at 2625 Woodleaf Road.
– Joe Leonard Adams, 45, reported Jan. 5 someone pried open his back door at 7975 Arizona Place, Kannapolis, and took items from his home including nine guns, valued at nearly $4,000.
– Dustin Thomas Moore, 20, was charged Jan. 5 with felony breaking and entering a vehicle that occurred the day before at a home at 1280 Elizabeth Ave. The suspect took rolls of quarters, a cell phone and charger and a carton of cigarettes.
– Dean Gary Stout, 21, was charged Jan. 5 with felony indecent liberties with children.
– Sharon Torrence, 27, was charged Jan. 5 with misdemeanor frivilous prosecution.
– Jose Fidel Lozada Silva, 35, was charged Jan. 5 with felony indecent liberties with children.
– Randall Scott Morris, 41, was charged Jan. 5 with misdemeanor breaking into a building at 225 Morris Hill Drive, China Grove.
– Kimberli Ruth Isom, 22, was charged Jan. 5 with misdemeanor aggravated assault at 225 Liz Cortland Drive, China Grove.
– Debbie Sheppard, 51, was charged Jan. 5 with harassing telephone calls at 3775 Liberty Road, Gold Hill.
– Jody Allen Leazer reported Jan. 7 someone broke into the Mooresville Drag strip and vandalized the track.
– Cordera Rayshard Brown, 21, was charged Jan. 7 with misdemeanor carrying a concealed weapon at McCanless Road and North Interstate 85. Officials stopped the suspects car he also had no license. Brown was also previously involved in a November motel shooting.
– Saundra Kay Spry, 66, reported Jan. 7 a grandmother clock was stolen from an abandoned house sometime between December 23 and Jan. 7.
– Sonic Drive-in reported Jan. 7 a burglary that occurred sometime on New Year’s Day at 2895 N. Cannon Blvd., Kannapolis. A drive-thru window was damaged.
– Markeia Raynea Ewell reported Jan. 7 that a counselor at Timber Ridge was pushed to the ground by a resident at the camp.
– Morton Michael Cook, reported Jan. 7 someone cut the locks off doors of trailers he uses for storage and removed items at 1425 Deer Creek Drive.
– George Clinton Knox reported Jan. 7 someone took several items from his home at 2814 N. Cannon Blvd., Kannapolis.
– Krista Jackson reported Jan. 7 someone broke into her home at 2925 W. Innes St. and took a PlayStation 3 and games.
– Max Ray Iddings reported Jan. 7 someone broke into a storage building at Willow Creek Drive.
– Sonja Kay Harris reported Jan. 7 someone forced entry into her home at 2126 Airport Road and removed several items including a computer and monitor, jewelry, checkbook, video game console and other items.
– Fred Eugene Overcash reported Jan. 7 someone stole medications from Old Concord Road.
– Bethany Leian Rogers, 20, was charged Jan. 7 with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia at 3225 Dunns Mountain Roa.
– Kiara Shanique Oglesby, 17, was charged Jan. 7 with misdemeanor carrying a concealed weapon at 110 McCanless Road. She had a .38-caliber pistol and shells.
– Terry Wayne Simmons, 26, was charged Jan. 7 with harassing telephone calls at 3225 Dunns Mountain Road.
– Teri Lynn Raymer, 34, was charged Jan .7 with misdemeanor possession of a schedule VI controlled substance at 140 McField Drive, China Grove.
– William Henry Patterson, 45, was charged Jan. 7 with felony breaking and entering a building at 110 Briarwood Lake Drive.
– Adam Dale Shehan, 28, was charged with misdemeanor assault on a female at 118 W. Liberty St.
– Charles Lee Shehan, 57, was charged Jan. 7 with misdemeanor assault on a female at 118 W. Liberty St.
– Laura Annette Barnhardt, 39, was charged Jan. 7 with misdemeanor drunk assist at 100 Winona Ave., Kannapolis.
– Christopher George Ritchie, 35, was charged Jan. 7 with felony possession of a stolen vehicle at 480 Wiley Lane.
– Marlowe Sechler, 31, was charged Jan. 7 with misdemeanor simple assault at 106 Tammy Road.
– Timothy Edward Schilling reported Jan. 8 fraud by false pretense at 305 Timber Creek Lane.
– Rocky J. Pierce reported Jan. 8 fraud by false pretense at 305 Timber Creek Lane.
– Trisha Dawn Overcash reported Jan. 8 someone forced entry into a residence items without permission from 8835 Wright Road, Kannapolis.
– Curtis Dean Hayes reported Jan. 8 the theft of prescription medications from a Jeep parked in his driveway at 145 Rocky Point, Cleveland.
– Francis Timothy Smith, 38, was charged with misdemeanor resist, delay obstruct a public officer Jan. 8 at 262 Geiger Lane.
– Jackie Thomas Phillips reported Jan. 8 a burglary and larceny from Magical Motors at 3787 Bringle Ferry Road.
– Nazareth Children’s Home reported Jan. 8 someone vandalized some cabinets causing $100 in damages.
– A Salisbury woman reported someone used her social security number to obtain elecricity in 2006.
– Nickia Rose, 20, was charged Jan. 8 with misdemeanor simple assault at 208 Huntington Drive.
– Autumn McLeod, 25, was charged Jan. 8 with misdemeanor assault and battery or affray.
– Robin Otto Worth, 25, was charged Jan. 8 with misdemeanor simple assault at 100 Andrews St., East Spencer.
