The Humane Society of Rowan County is offering help for pets facing freezing conditions.
The organization is offering wood shavings to anyone who needs pet bedding and can’t provide it.
Jane Hartness of the Humane Society asked those who need help caring for their pets to call 704-636-5700 and leave a message including their name, phone number and address.
Humane Society volunteers will check the messages throughout the weekend.
