Two Salisbury men face drug charges resulting from two investigations, the Salisbury Police Department said.
Authorities charged Daniel Earl Keith, 27, of 785 Thompson Road, with two counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, two counts of selling and delivering cocaine, trafficking in opium by sale, trafficking in opium by possession and trafficking in opium by transport.
Keith remains in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $100,000 bond.
The charges resulted from a six-month investigation by the department’s drug unit.
The department’s drug/gang unit served a search warrant Wednesday at 3A Civic Apartments.
Officials seized 59 grams of marijuana located in 40 individual bags at the residence. They also seized $344 in cash.
The resident, Rodney M. Covington, 31, was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana.
Covington was released from the Rowan County Detention Center after posting $2,500 bond.
The charges resulted from a four-month investigation, the Police Department said.
