A Salisbury resident was shot Monday during a home invasion. Salisbury Police investigators are looking for two suspects.
The incident occurred at 1237 Kinley St., just off Long Street near East Spencer.
Namon Lucky, 29, and a couple of other people were gathered at his home around 1 a.m. watching television. One of the house guests went outside to smoke and was chased back into the home by two men armed with handguns, wearing hoodies and bandannas.
One of the men put a gun to Lucky’s head. The suspect asked Lucky “Where it at? Where’s the money?” police reports said.
According to Deputy Chief Steve Whitley, the men forced Lucky toward the back of the house.
Lucky ran off the home’s back porch. One of the suspects shot him in the arm.
Lucky went to a neighbor for help and was taken to the hospital, where he was treated and released.
One of the suspects wore a hoodie with a white bandanna over his nose and mouth and carried a pistol, police reports said. The other man wore a brightly colored hoodie. He also had a bandanna covering his face and carried a semi-automatic firearm.
Authorities ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers 866-639-5245 or the Salisbury Police Department at 704-638-5333.
