Scott and Karen Gaskill of Salisbury are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Brooke Gaskill, to Benjamin Lee Ijames of Landis.
Jessica is the granddaughter of Edgar (Buddy) and Jean Bell of Salisbury and Robert and Sylvia Gaskill of Hudson, and the great granddaughter of Vernon and Ruth Ridenhour of Salisbury. A 2008 graduate of Salisbury High School, she graduated cum laude from Catawba College in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Concentration in Marketing and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts. She is the Marketing Specialist for RowanWORKS Economic Development.
Ben is the son of Dale and Kelly Ijames of Landis and the grandson of Thomas and Bobbie Hammett of Kannapolis and Thomas Ijames and the late Barbara Ijames of Mocksville. He is a 2008 graduate of Salisbury High School and a 2012 graduate of Catawba College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. He is an accountant with Delhaize America Shared Services Group.
The couple will be married May 17 at Gay’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Salisbury.
