Waller inducted into Public Relations Student Society

GREENSBORO ó North Carolina A&T State University’s chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America inducted Brooke Waller as a new member to the professional organization. Dr. Humphrey Regis, the journalism dean of chair, Meryl Mullane, the chapter’s advisor, Javelle Daley, the chapter’s president, and the chapter’s members presented Waller with a certificate of membership into the society during the ceremonial event Nov. 21.
Waller also received an appreciation award from Daley, who explained the award is given to students who are responsible, reliable and willing to lend a helping hand whenever needed. Waller is a sophomore at North Carolina A&T State University majoring in journalism with a concentration in public relations. She is also a member of the North Carolina A&T State campus life mentors, vice president of the Residence Hall Association, and a Dean’s List Scholar. Waller completed a two-semester internship with the Salisbury Post while in high school. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bolden D. Waller of Salisbury.
