Three charged in Woodleaf School inciddnt

The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office has charged three young men with second-degree trespass and injury to real property in connection with damage to windows last Thursday at Woodleaf Elementary School.
The Post earlier reported that Matthew Travis Dartt, 17, of 225 Parks Road, Salisbury, was charged in the incident.
Reports from the Rowan County Magistrate’s Office show that Michael Brandon Melton, 16, of 18115 Mooresville Road, Salisbury, and Kevin Lyn Eaton, 18, of 425 Goodman Road, China Grove, also were charged.
M.A. Dixon of the sheriff’s office investigated.
Eaton was placed under $1,500 bond. He also was charged with failure to appear in court on a previous charge of injury to personal property.
Melton and Dartt were released into the custody of their parents.
The school is located at 9055 School St., Woodleaf.
