Letter: Democrats not helpful on COVID-19, Floyd protests

The Democrats: what were they doing about the COVID-19?
The Democrats are quick to point out anything they can about President Donald Trump, whether it’s true or not. What I would like to know is what the Democrats “In Washington” were doing in January, February and March to stop the virus. They had access to the same information that Trump had.
They did try to impeach Trump, all the way into February, knowing it wouldn’t get past the Senate. I guess they couldn’t do more than one thing at a time.
Maybe the question is what they did to help the virus spread. After Trump stopped flights from China, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi went to Chinatown and said come on down to Chinatown, they have good food and it’s safe.
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, New York City Mayor Bill DeBlasio, and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said go out and eat and go to bars; it’s safe. It’s no worse than the flu.
I wonder how many they sent to their deaths. Cuomo made it mandatory that nursing homes take COVID-19 patients. How many died because of that order?
The Washington Democrats are complaining about Trump’s handling the tragic death of Mr. George Floyd and his wanting to stop the looting, rioting, arson and assaults on police and innocent civilians. I don’t hear any ideas from the Democrats, except letting them burn and destroy the cities, then retreat when confronted, even giving up a police station. I wonder where the citizens would go for help.
Also Trump did send the FBI and Department of Justice to investigate the murder. I guess he should have sent in the military and lynched the four policemen and shot the looters. Seriously , he also offered to help the governors anyway he could, no lynching or shooting offered.
