A concert in honor of missing teen Erica Lynn Parsons will be held Saturday at 7 p.m. at Livingwater Church of God, 166 N. Little Texas Road, Kannapolis.
Parsons, 15, has been missing since late 2011, but was just reported missing nearly two months ago.
Brian “Capa” Young, a Rowan native, along with Crystal Pope, have organized the concert.
Young, a Lexington gospel hip hop artist, has said he was touched by the story of Erica’s disappearance and wanted to help spread the word. He’s written a song that he’s posted on Youtube and will perform that song at the concert.
There will also be performances by Taylor Linker, Billie Bunn, as well as praise dancers Carrie Easom and Bonnie Blunt.
