Salisbury’s boys soccer team blasted Thomasville 9-0 on Thursday to stay unbeaten in the CCC.
The top-ranked Hornets (18-1, 8-0) haven’t lost since August.
Salisbury’s win coupled with second-place West Davidson’s loss to Lexington gave the Hornets their 10th straight CCC title.
Landon Goodman and Matt Washko had two goals each for the Hornets. Emmy Turcios, Michael Brown, Bobby Cardelle, Christian Uribe and Max Fisher scored a goal apiece.
Fisher’s goal ended the match by the mercy rule six minutes into the second half.
Fisher and John Canipe shared the shutout. Canipe made his debut as a high school keeper.
Salisbury is at West Davidson on Wednesday.
East Rowan fell in five games to Central Cabarrus on Monday.
North Rowan plays host East Davidson at 5 p.m. today in the semifinals of the CCC tournament, with the Salisbury-West Davidson match to follow.

The dual team state playoffs start today.
In 2A, Salisbury (13-3) is home against Forest Hills (9-2). In 3A, East Rowan (12-1) is home against Lenoir Hibriten (11-2).
The CCC and SPC championships will be held today.
The CCC championships are at Dan Nicholas Park at 3:30 p.m. The SPC championships are being hosted by Central Cabarrus at Liske Park.
Kevin Lentz shot 74-79 — 143 to win the two-round McCanles Club Championship.
Drue Davis shot 77-71 — 148 for second. Others in the Championship Flight were Scott Curry (150), Jim Wyatt (151), Ricky Honeycutt (158), Chris Curtis (162), Troy Neas (162) and Bryan Reynolds (165). Wyatt won the Senior Club Championship.
Randy Davis shot 81-76 — 157 to win the First Flight. Randy Martin shot 167 for second place. Gary Bostian shot 171 for third place. Ben Rollins shot 172 to win the Junior Club Championship.
In the Ladies Division, Susan Morris shot 72-71 — 143 to win the Championship Flight. Kristi Laton shot 81-78 — 159 for second. Treva Honeycutt shot 166 for third.
Monica Green won the First Flight, and Tammie Drew placed second.
UNC Pembroke’s football team (5-0) moved up to No. 10 in the national D-II poll.
UNCP QB Luke Charles was named national player of the week by one network.
Charles completed 43 passes for 403 yards in Saturday’s win against Charlotte.
UNCP is at Catawba this Saturday.
In the Patsy Rendleman Invitational at the Country Club of Salisbury, Wingate’s women took the lead with Monday’s 311 total.
Catawba is tied for eighth at 327. Leslie Long shot 74 for the Indians. Madison Kennedy (Salisbury) shot 80.
• Catawba’s men’s team is fifth at 294 after Monday’s first round of the State Farm Intercollegiate hosted by Lincoln Memorial. Tyler Rutherford shot 72 to pace Catawba. Matt Hardman shot 73.
Mars Hill and Tusculum shot 284s for the lead.
• On the first two days of the AutoTrader.com Classic in Duluth, Ga., UNC Greensboro’s Roy Dixon (Salisbury) has shot 74-72 – 146 and is tied for 35th.
