A 31-year-old woman from Landis was taken to Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord after a van went off Old Concord Road, hit a utility pole and then hit a house Monday morning.
The woman, whose identity has not been released yet, was the only person in the 2003 Ford Windstar. Few details are available, but investigators say the woman overcorrected after going off the road near the house at 6304 Old Concord Road. After hitting the pole, the van came to a stop against the home.
