Poor George Zimmerman started out to do a good thing for his community. At the end of the day, he had helped create the perfect pie recipe for social vultures. There are those who circle and wait for a rare opportunity like this one.
Al Sharpton’s piece of the pie is about getting a free, nationwide stage to push his fake agenda of “let’s do the right thing” when it’s really just about himself.
The media’s piece is getting good ratings for as long as they can keep it ginned up. If necessary, news outlets will tell lies when there wasn’t news to report. (For example: NBC edited a 911 call.)
The Justice Department gets a piece because it thinks it can use this to change laws to its liking.
Then there are always the politicians. Their piece is about glowing words with the correct amount of hate mixed in. They know the right mixture can produce a plethora of votes. Celebrities can get their promotional piece just by showing up.
There is more, but I’ll stop here.
Trayvon Martin is the only one who didn’t get a piece. Maybe one day George Zimmerman will get his peace.

Commentators, reporters and analysts on the Trayvon Martin case continue to conflate two concepts, law and justice.
The right focuses on the trial, failing to appreciate what evidence was allowed and what was denied, or the instructions given to the jury. But the trial fulfilled Florida’s legal requirements.
The left, on the other hand, demands Lady Justice do what’s correct. But Lady Justice appears either completely blindfolded or she has one or the other eye covered; it’s a goal sought, but rarely achieved.
