A son, Hudson Stewart, was born to Jonathan and Shelley Harper Palmer of Salisbury on June 25, 2013, at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center. He weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces. He has three brothers, Blake, 13; Harper, 5; and Hampton, 3. Grandparents are Shelton and Freida Harper of Salisbury, and Barbara Palmer of Concord.
A daughter, Cordie LaVern, was born to John and Laura Hill Nettles of Woodleaf on July 13, 2013. She weighed 10 pounds, 6 ounces. She has two brothers, Henry, 4, and Charlie, deceased; and a sister, Brianna Lookabill, 17. Grandparents are Ed and Vickie Hill and Charles and Sarah Nettles, all of Woodleaf. Great-grandparents are Ben and Belle Moore of Woodleaf and Robert Hill of Archdale.
