Gunfire leaves two dead, one injured in Concord

CONCORD — Police investigating a reported shooting found two people dead and a third injured this afternoon, a news release said.
Concord officers and EMS were dispatched around 3:15 today to a home on Gibson Drive, not far from downtown Concord.
The officers found three people with gunshot wounds. Two of the victims, a male and female, were dead, the news release said. Another male was taken to Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast with injuries described as “non life threatening.”
Investigators currently believe all people involved in the situation have been accounted for, the news release said.
No other information was released today.
