This photograph comes from the archives of Rowan Museum, which held a fashion show in May 1988 called ‘Dignity and Decorum.’ Here, Diane Fisher wears a morning dress that belonged to Margaret Kesler, great aunt of Mrs. Dodd Brown. The dress, circa 1880, is known in the Brown family as ‘Aunt Duck’s dress.’ Aunt Duck is legendary, as she came to visit relatives for one week and stayed for 40 years. The Rowan Museum is celebrating its 60th birthday this year.
