BEAR POPLAR — West Rowan Farm Home and Garden Inc. will be sponsoring a “Spring Festival of Faith, Flowers and Friends” from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. March 23 at the business, located at 11575 N.C. Highway 801.
The business formerly was known as Steele Feed & Seed.
Brian and Elsie Bennett are the owners.
“Many people have asked us when we were having a grand opening,” the Bennetts said in a press release. “To show our appreciation, we wanted time to plan a special event for the community as our way of saying ‘Thank you for your support.’”
The festival is inviting people to bring their produce or crafts for sale. Musicians also are welcome to perform. The festival is reaching out, too, to churches and non-profit groups in the area to promote awareness of their organizations.
The festival is free, and there will be no charges for spaces or booths at the festival, though vendor spaces are limited.
“We hope this will be the first of many spring festivals to come,” the Bennetts said.
